On April 24, 2026, Sausalito residents filled a room for an SOS community forum on the 1 Harbor Drive project — the largest building proposed in the city. We walked through what's proposed, how Measure J and state housing laws brought us here, the impacts on traffic, trees, and infrastructure, and what residents can do.
One note for the record: this presentation reflects the project as filed in March 2026. Since then, the developer's June resubmittal raised the building to about 90 feet and increased the affordable component to 59 units (20 percent) — so a few figures in the slides have changed, but the case has only gotten stronger.
