Sausalito’s environment and character are facing challenges as never seen before. Our small community is targeted by those who see Sausalito as a real estate opportunity rather than a home. To get ready for increased campaign activity, this week we launched a new website that can serve as an information and organizing hub.
In the new website we laid out our vision and work to protect the human scale of Sausalito — and the historic, maritime, creative, and natural beauty that defines its character.
Our new website provides an easy-to-navigate structure with each campaign and latest updates highlighting all the work we’ve done and will continue to do together.

We provide background, latest updates, and action alerts for our current campaigns:
- Protecting our Historic District with opposition to out-of-scale development at 605 Bridgeway and 83 Princess Street
- Supporting affordable housing at a human scale at MLK Park and the Corporation Yard
- Standing with residents at Pelican Harbor as the work continues to defend their rights to liveaboard
- Assessing impacts for 1 Harbor Drive, Measure J sites, and the AIM Initiative: approved and proposed upzoning need careful review
We’ve also expanded our News & Events page and streamlined our Document Library so you can search by title, type, source, or campaign.
In just a few clicks across the site, you can easily:
- Access details and updates on every SOS campaign
- Learn about and engage with your specific topic of interest
- Read up on the latest news and updates as they happen
- Find our programs and resources, including a vast list of documents, and a tool to monitor applications near you
Please take a look and let us know what you think.
