Live Aboard Residents are Threatened by Unqualified New Harbor Owner

New owner used loophole to elude City Council disapproval

For years Pelican Harbor was a shining example of a well run harbor and home to Sausalito residents who live aboard. Then a sale was proposed to a new owner with a poor operating record.

The City Council rejected the transfer 4-0, but a transaction occurred anyway using a loophole to avoid the need for the Council approval. SOS supports residents who are organizing a response and calls on the Council to use its power to ensure quality operation at Pelican Harbor.
